Royal Wedding

Let's take a minute to congratulate Prince William and Kate Middleton on their wedding. It was nice waking up and seeing that all the world was celebrating something together despite their race, religion, or culture. It was a refreshing change turning on the t.v. and seeing something other than death and violence on the news, For that, I thank the couple. I admit I didn't watch the entire thing because I got bored. But I loved the simplicity of Kate's makeup and dress! I'm going to post my favorite pictures of the event. Enjoy! :D

Kate Middleton looking simply lovely! She applied her own makeup. Atmana ashoof wa7da Kuwaitiya tilbis a simple conservative like hers wat7ada wa7da it7i6 her own makeup for her wedding! I already do my own makeup at home because I don't believe that a person has to cake on make up to look beautiful.

Book Review

I know it's been a while since I posted but I'll make up for it soon. I read this book by Elizabeth Gilbert a few months ago called Eat, Pray, Love (Yes I know you've seen the movie but have you read it?) and it's really worth posting about! I refuse to watch the movie because the book is ALWAYS better! :D
I'm not going to ruin the story for those who might read it but I'll hint at what it's about. Gilbert takes a year off to travel the world and see life in a different light and find a balance to that.

 'She spent four months in Italy, eating and enjoying life ("Eat"). She spent three months in India, finding her spirituality ("Pray"). She ended the year in Bali, Indonesia, looking for "balance" of the two and found love ("Love") in the form of a dashing Brazilian factory owner.' 


This book was very inspirational and it motivated me to someday travel the world and to get acquainted with other cultures, people, beliefs, and traditions. And... It just made my list of favorites! :D

My Little Heaven on Earth

The pictures you just witnessed are of the berry volcano at Open Flame and yes, it tastes as good as it looks (if not better). Sometimes I stop by just to order this, thought i'd share (and make you all jealous :P )

I know I haven't posted a lot and it's spring break so I should have time but for some reason I just can't bring myself to do it. I have 49 days left till Grad and I know I've been whining a lot about wanting to leave high school but just when you think you've had enough of it that one moment happens that makes you want to stay forever. But hey! Moving on is a part of life and at least I have something worth looking forward (and back) to. I've been hooked on this song The Chain by Ingrid Michaelson it's different then what i'm used to, kind of a fresh change. Give it a listen. Feedback is welcomed.
